Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Lauren McBride is the Vice President of Finance at Somersault Operating Inc., a company overseeing multiple The Little Gym franchises nationwide. At just 23, Lauren received a life-altering diagnosis—Hodgkin's Lymphoma—despite experiencing no prior symptoms. After enduring months of chemotherapy, she achieved remission and is now considered cancer-free. Her journey led her to become deeply involved with Cycle for Survival, where she has delivered powerful speeches in Times Square and at numerous events across New York City. To date, Lauren has raised over $100,000 for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center through her fundraising efforts.

Ovarian Cancer

Marguerite is one of the co-founders of For All Who Fight. In 2018, when Marguerite was 23 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer. After surgery, it was determined that she had an ovarian yolk sac tumor, and was diagnosed with Stage 1c3 ovarian cancer. She underwent surgery, egg retrieval, and chemotherapy. A few months after she was cancer-free her older sister, Mikaela, was diagnosed with breast cancer. These instances led to the start of their non-profit, For All Who Fight.

Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

At 19, Kerry had just finished her freshman year at Villanova University when she found out she had Stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She took a semester off of college to undergo 6 months of chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Kerry returned back to campus the following semester and celebrated her 7 year cancer free anniversary last fall! She graduated from Villanova in 2020 and she is currently employed by the NYPD in their forensics lab.

Ovarian Cancer

Emily Campbell is the Executive Director and co-founder of Not These Ovaries, an ovarian cancer non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating research and improving outcomes for ovarian cancer patients. At 33, Emily was diagnosed with micropapillary borderline serous ovarian cancer, igniting her passion for change in the field. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and the scarcity of research for rarer subtypes like borderline (BOT) and low-grade serous ovarian cancer (LGSOC), Emily and her husband Chris launched Not These Ovaries with a bold mission: to cure these rare types of ovarian cancer.

Breast Cancer

Mikaela’s journey as a cancer advocate began in 2018 when her sister, Marguerite, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. A year later, during a routine annual gynecological check-up, Mikaela was diagnosed with Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer at the age of 26. She was treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation, completing treatment in January 2020. As part of her treatment plan, she also underwent fertility preservation to freeze her eggs and used the Paxman Hub Cold Cap for hair preservation during chemotherapy.
